I don't know if any children have improved their lives through the Laptop program, but I'm glad I gave. It wasn't a huge financial burden, and there is always the possibility that I was able to make some kid's life a little better by giving him a laptop.
For that same $200, I could have donated a sheep or a goat or a flock of ducks or some rabbits or a pig through Heifer International, but I donated a computer... that can't feed anyone. Hooray, me!
