I just saw on LISNews a story about an OCLC attempt to brand libraries as being the place for "geeks." I guess since President Obama was labeled a geek, it's now cool to use that term. Unlike, in 1933, when my uncle worked as a geek in the circus. But at least he kept food on the table.
I guess it's something. It doesn't thrill me. I mean I get it,.. but I don't get it.
I think the problem is that it looks too much like the campaign that was out last year for Battlestar Galactica, "I Frak."
